An Important Note on Travel to Florida

Plans for the trip have been underway for some time, and we are aware of recent travel advisories from both the NAACP and LGBTQ advocacy groups. With that in mind, we have been in touch with colleagues in the region to assess the impact of our trip, to which we have heard: “Solidarity and how those of us outside of Florida can support our fellow humans in the state.” This has redoubled our interest in supporting the art scene of Miami. The trip will include opportunities to hear and raise up the diverse voices of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists in that spirit
