This summer, Earth at The Palo Alto Art Center marks the latest chapter of Climate Connections, a year-long series of exhibitions and public programs that explore the role of art, creativity, and cultural leadership in inspiring and instantiating meaningful climate action. For centuries, California’s natural terrain has provided fertile conceptual ground for artists and creative thinkers of all stripes. As the effects of climate change grow increasingly obvious, the insights of our region’s artists appear more vital and necessary than ever. This show will be juried by Jodi Roberts,  Co-founder and Managing Director at Art + Climate Action (A+CA) and co-founder of Partners for Arts Climate Targets (PACT).

This summer, Earth at The Palo Alto Art Center marks the latest chapter of Climate Connections, a year-long series of exhibitions and public programs that explore the role of art, creativity, and cultural leadership in inspiring and instantiating meaningful climate action. For centuries, California’s natural terrain has provided fertile conceptual ground for artists and creative thinkers of all stripes. As the effects of climate change grow increasingly obvious, the insights of our region’s artists appear more vital and necessary than ever. This show will be juried by Jodi Roberts,  Co-founder and Managing Director at Art + Climate Action (A+CA) and co-founder of Partners for Arts Climate Targets (PACT).

Art Center hours are from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
